Car sponsorships are where a manufacturer such as sony etc. Provides your vehicle with upgrades such as car audio etc.
about a month and a half ago I saw a google sponsored ad "car sponsorships"
It caught my attention so I clicked on it
Their ad got me and I paid the 19.99 application fee they had asked for and pretty much forgot about it.
Well I received a phone call from a company called Wings west which manufactures Ground effects, Spoilers etc.
Luckily for me they needed a cavalier like mine as a prototype for a magazine add.
I was a little reluctant to the phone call and really didn't beleive it could be true. so I posted in a car forum I belong too. "is this a scam did i really get sponsored"
Everyones response was the same. "it's probably a scam" "You lost 20 bucks" etc.
Then the Package Came a full ground effects package, Spoiler, Cowl induction type hood, Decals etc.
Also included was a list of local body shops that would put the items on my car and bill wings west.
Really blew my mind. My car is Getting "Pimped" (pimp my ride) as we speak!
